PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

InfraLUM® FT-40 is the most advanced FT spectrometer designed for fast and non-destructive analysis of grain: wheat, barley, corn, rice, rye, etc. For constituents properties of interest at all stages of harvesting, transportation and storage. It allows simultaneous determination of such parameters as proteins, fats, moisture, sugar, cellulose, starch, fibers in one run in a minute.

InfraLUM Whole Grain Analyzer is supplied with ready-to-use basic calibrations for most of the grain applications. Upon customer's request, the calibrations can be adapted for specific sets of samples, or new calibrations can be made. A new technique for creating universal calibrations has been developed for the instrument. This state-of-the-art technique does not require large amounts of samples to make robust, reliable, and transferable calibrations. In addition, commonly used and accepted multivariate techniques such as PLS (Partial Least Squares) and PCR (Principal Component Regression) are included in the software package. Our service / application engineers carry out its installation and commissioning and demonstrate the operation of the instrument using the calibration samples. They also provide training for the customers in routine measurements.

SERVICES

Upon request installation and commissioning of InfraLUM WholeGrain systems can be carried out on Customer's site by our service engineers. Spare parts are delivered and repair is made upon Customer's request (free within the warranty period).
